season's greetings! ~ MCT 127th Release Blog Hop

 

Welcome to My Creative Time 127th Release Blog Hop and sale!  This was such a fun release to create with!  I love the new paper pad where you can just cut out the printed snowmen!  No coloring required, how much easier could it be!  To create the background of the shaker, I simply did a bit of ink blending with the fun new stencil. The shaker frame was made with the Snowball Dies.  I'm so in love with this Let it Snow paper pad, please don't let my picture fool you, the purple is a beautiful deep purple (my lighting was terrible). You can see that I made another texture paste background, though I didn't add any fine glitter this time. I also added some Stickles to the hat and three little snowballs.

believe! ~ MCT 127th Release Sneak Peek Day 4

Welcome to My Creative Time's 127th Release day 3 of sneak peeks!  Today I'm going to switch gears, but just a bit.  This month Emma is releasing two paper pads, this one has traditional Christmas colors along with a large and small candy cane dies.  I wanted to stay with the snowman theme, so I stamped and colored one to match the paper.  Shaker cards do take a litttle more time, but they are so worth it!

dec 25th! ~ MCT 127th Release Sneak Peek Day 2

Welcome to My Creative Time's 127th Release day 2 of sneak peeks! For my card today, I first die cut the card.  Next, I mixed texture paste with a drop of distress ink then spread over stencil.  While the paste was still wet I sprinkled fine glitter all over.  Again, I used the printed snowman from the new paper pad and the new Dec 25th die.

from the kitchen! ~ MCT 126th Release Sneak Peek Day 3

Welcome to My Creative Time's 126th Release day 3 of sneak peeks!  I've got a fun tag die, perfect to write a little note in!  This tag is going to come in handy for all my treats I give during the holidays.  Just don't get locked into this for Christmas.  I think it might be my new "go to" all year round!

Just like yesterday with the Ginger Accessories for the larger ginger person, there are accessories for the ginger boy and girl set!  I used the heart for the the Assorted Mini Tag Dies to create a pocket for the utensils.  There are many ways to close the tag, I used a velcro dot (from Dollar Tree) cut in half.
